Best cafes in New Delhi

Delhi has given us TONS of iconic and popular cafes which we can’t be more grateful for! From eateries in the bustling lanes of Khan Market to those in the pretty streets of Champa Gali, Delhi has it all. When we were not even done covering the oldie cafes of the city, new ones such as those in Hudson Lane and Satya Niketan popped up, which not only serve yummylicious food but are also pocket-friendly. This is why we’ve culled out a whole list of the best cafes in all of Delhi - read on and start checking out every one of them!

1. The Big Chill Cafe

Cafe in delhi, best cafes in delhi, cafes in cp

The OG destination serving Italian yummies, this cafe does not even need an introduction now, does it Delhiites? With the peppiest vintage ambience we’ve ever seen, The Big Chill Cafe has been our go-to hangout spot since it popped up all those years ago. Our faves from this place include Penne With Vodka, All Cheese Pizza and of course, those delectable Pizza Rolls.

These lovelies also have a separate place to hog on desserts, called The Big Chill Cakery, which is another treat for the tummy. Try their uber-popular Mississippi Mud Pie and Banoffee Pie for they’re unbelievably indulgent!

2. Ricos

Pampering us with tons of all kinds of yummy dishes, ranging from Mexican, Italian and Mexican, Ricos is one of our hiding holes in the city. They have super-cool wooden decor and graffiti which is just so Insta-worthy! When at Ricos, gorge on their Mushroom Cheese Burst, Chicken Florentine, The Farmer John Burger and Vegetarian Lasagna, ‘cause you’ll defo love them!

3. Big Yellow Door

The perfect place for students to stop by and have a hearty meal, we couldn’t resist adding BYD to this list. They serve the quirkiest dishes of all time, like Unicorn Fries, BYD Cheese Bomb Burger and Pizzeria On Baguette, which you defo should try. These lovelies also have an outlet in Dwarka, which has a beautiful rooftop seating area, so make sure you drop by!

4. Rose Cafe

Folks, you just can’t miss this place if you’re all about all things rustic and pretty! With colourful walls, vintage lamps and pastel couches, we’re totally in love with this pretty-as-a-button cafe. Head over to this place for a photoshoot, soak in the sun while having lunch by yourself in their charming outdoor area or just pop over for a brunch date with yo’ besties. When you’re done fawning over their interiors, sample their Croque Monsieur House Sandwich, Falafel Wrap and their syrup-covered waffles, they’re just too yummy!
